Create Interactive 3D Worlds

  • Flux Studio allows you to design and build 3D scenes, and bring them to life by animating the geometry, and defining rules of interactivity, which can trigger lights, sounds, and animations.

Generates X3D, VRML97, and AVI files

  • You can output your animations in AVI files, and you can create X3D, VRML97, and several other open and special files that can be experienced over the web via web3D X3D browsers, VRML97 browsers, and others.

See your animations in the included Flux Studio Screen Saver

  • Flux Studio includes a Windows Screen Saver that can show your scenes, or ours. Put your 3D company logo on all you PCs.

Easy to use, intuitive Standard Windows Interface

  • Since this application only runs on Windows and Windows NT, we were able to take advantage of the advanced GUI utilities to build a Standard Windows Interface that you already know how to use. You'll be up and running in no time.

Create 3D Text

  • Flux Studio lets you create and animate real 3D text. You can create simple or complex extruded text in many standard styles, or you can use any swept or sculpted node as a template. Basic character and string animation is simple to set up. Compose static text images for easy paste into any 2D image editor.

Helpful Wizards

  • Flux Studio gives you wizards that will lead you by the hand to complete complex tasks such as creating animations and moving cameras.
  • The Humanoid Animation Wizard creates a standardized joint model (bones), which can be attached, or bound, to a mesh (skin). This joint model can then be animated; as in creating gestures for an Avatar. An advantage of following the humanoid animation standard is that gestures may be developed for one avatar and used later in another.

Realistic 3D shading, lighting, and texture mapping

  • Flux Studio uses OpenGL graphics to render lifelike images. You can create directional lights, point lights, and spot lights. You can also map your 2D images onto your 3-D geometry.

X3D and VRML97 Browser Simulation Mode

  • Save time by testing your scenes right inside of Flux Studio without having to load up Cosmo or any other X3D/VRML Browser.

Run your animation in Browser Debug Mode

  • Single step as it records and presents all the activity. A complex animation can get very confusing. Flux Studio gives you the tools you need to figure out exactly what is happening, what caused it to happen, what it caused to happen, and when all this stuff happened.

Easy to Create Animations

  • It doesn't get much easier. We have taken a complicated task and made it simple. Define the position, rotation, and scale of your geometry at various points along a path. Sensors and Timers can trigger Animations, lights, sounds, and switches. We give you the tools you need to create the scene in your imagination.

Intelligent Undo / Redo, and undo/redo history

  • It saves every detail of your most recent activities, and later consolidates the steps. Flux Studio will also create a list of the things that you did. You can traverse forward or backward through the list, undoing and redoing everything you did, undid, redid, unredid...

FTP Support

  • Flux Studio can automatically FTP your complete world, including all dependent image, sound, and script files direct to your Web Site server. You can select from X3D,, VRML97, and several other open and proprietary file types. Flux Studio also provides the HTML tag to present the world in your web page.

Context Sensitive Help

  • You won't be left in the dark with Flux Studio. Simply hit F1, and get help on the active property page, or the selected node. The Industry standard HTML Help provides you with help on any menu item or tool icon.

Never Type a Number

  • Virtually all values can be manipulated by dragging the mouse. Of course, we also provide a way to type in the values.
