Scale Property Page:
Scale:
The Scale page allows you to scale the selected node. You can do a Uniform scale, or a Nonuniform scale. Either way, you can modify the scale factor by dragging the cursor. In nonuniform mode, the axis that is scaled is the axis that is most closely aligned with the motion of the cursor. Only one axis is scaled per dragging operation.
Please Note that your are Scaling the Node about the Center of Rotation and Scale that is defined in the TranslateNodePropPage .
There are several modifier Keys that will modify how the Node will scale as you drag it on the scene.
Pressing "X", "Y", or "Z" while dragging will Scale the Node nonuniformly along the local Axis corresponding to the Key that is pressed. If the Uniform Scale Toggle was ON before you started dragging while depressing the "X", "Y", or "Z" key, then we will automatically turn Off Uniform Scale Mode for you.
Also, while you are in Scale Mode, the three Slider Bars in the Control Bar will allow you to Scale the Node about the local X, Y, and Z Axis by using the corresponding Slider. Note the Scale Icon is depressed. If you are in Uniform Scale Mode, only the First Slider will be available, and you can use that slider to do the Uniform Scaling. The other two sliders will be disabled.
